About Papparoti Warrigal Square

Set in the calm neighborhood near Warrigal Road in Eight Mile Plains, this cafe has quietly built a niche for those seeking a relaxed spot to enjoy both comforting drinks and light bites. The standout here tends to be the freshly warmed coffee buns, often kept ready at a cozy temperature, paired naturally with a strong cup of coffee — from a smooth flat white to a more indulgent affogato. Alongside these, there’s a thoughtful selection of teas, including some with a local Malaysian flair that adds a subtle twist to the usual cafe options.

The atmosphere feels casual and welcoming, with friendly staff who often engage genuinely with visitors, creating a space that suits solo diners, small groups, and families alike. The seating and access are considerate, making it easy for anyone to settle in comfortably, whether for a quick bite or a restful break during the day. Parking is convenient, with both free street and lot options, easing the errand or morning stop-in.

People who appreciate a calm, somewhat trendy cafe experience tend to enjoy spending time here — from those grabbing a morning coffee to start their day, to folks lingering over brunch or a casual lunch. The balance between a straightforward menu and the little details, like the warmth of a bun or the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, helps this spot feel like a quietly reliable local find rather than just another busy cafe.

I like their coffee bun, they always keep buns in food incubator so you can get warm and delicious bun anytime. Their coffee is so good as well.

It seemed really popular when we came so we thought it would be really good. The “puff” thing that we got was okay but I wouldn’t rave about it or go out of my to get it. It had a good crisp texture and the smell was amazing, but it tasted relatively plain (I did get the generic one, so it didn’t have any filling). It’s decently priced and service was good but again, it’s not something I’d crave or really get again, unless someone else wanted it.

The owners are always very welcoming and engaging in genuine small talk with their customers which is rare these days. Their coffee is nice and their coffee buns?... Well, you just have to try it. They're amazing!

Stopped in for a coffee and a bun. Warm and fresh as always, not too sweet, and a nice spot to sit for a bit.

If you haven't been here to try a bun with coffee you need to do yourself a favour & check it out...(other drinks available as well inc; Malay teh terik). Friendly staff/ owner....AMAZING coffee, and the buns are WOW. We have been past this shop... but didn't go in senario....so have been missing out for a while...but not now. Can totally reccomend Green tea latte with cream....totally amazing & yum.

I had read an article before saying this place is one of the hidden gems in South Brisbane, famous for their delicious buns. I really wanted to try their famous bun, and I finally went last week. At first, I hesitated when I saw they only had the coffee flavour (I thought the original would be milky or vanilla). But when I asked the friendly gentleman there, he explained that the flavour is very mild and the bun is caffeine-free. I bought one, and after the first bite I honestly loved it! The taste, texture, and even the temperature. They keep the buns warm in the oven, which makes them even better. It was an excellent experience and definitely worth the drive. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.

This Papparoti is so good! The owners are the most warm and lovely people. They are always so happy to see you and service is fast. And of course, the buns itself are amazing. Warm coffee bun with melted butter in the centre. It's perfect!
