If you find yourself near Warrigal Square in Eight Mile Plains, this café offers a quiet spot to enjoy some thoughtfully prepared coffee and light bites. The warm coffee buns—kept ready to enjoy fresh and cozy—draw in a steady stream of locals who appreciate the simple comfort of a soft pastry paired with a well-made flat white or cappuccino. Alongside these, there’s a selection of interesting Malaysian-inspired drinks like Milo Dinosaur and Teh O’ Ice Limau that add a touch of regional flavor to the menu.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that suits anyone dropping in solo for a quick coffee or groups looking for a laid-back brunch destination. Accessibility is clearly considered here; the space includes wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating, complemented by ample parking, including free street and lot options, making it easy to pause for a moment regardless of how you’re arriving.
This café is a spot where the owners take a genuine interest in their customers, creating a sense of community that's noticeable without being loud. Whether you’re after a quiet nook to enjoy a warm bun and a coffee or something on the lighter side of lunch alongside a green tea latte with cream, it’s the kind of place that feels like a thoughtful local find rather than just another pretty shop front along Warrigal Road.

"Gr8 place for a coffee and their tasty coffee buns."
"Lovely people and service and good coffee with a large variety of choices."
"Friendly staff/ owner....AMAZING coffee, and the buns are WOW."
5 I like their coffee bun, they always keep buns in food incubator so you can get warm and delicious bun anytime. Their coffee is so good as well.
4 It seemed really popular when we came so we thought it would be really good. The “puff” thing that we got was okay but I wouldn’t rave about it or go out of my to get it. It had a good crisp texture and the smell was amazing, but it tasted relatively plain (I did get the generic one, so it didn’t have any filling). It’s decently priced and service was good but again, it’s not something I’d crave or really get again, unless someone else wanted it.
5 The owners are always very welcoming and engaging in genuine small talk with their customers which is rare these days. Their coffee is nice and their coffee buns?... Well, you just have to try it. They're amazing!
5 Stopped in for a coffee and a bun. Warm and fresh as always, not too sweet, and a nice spot to sit for a bit.
5 If you haven't been here to try a bun with coffee you need to do yourself a favour & check it out...(other drinks available as well inc; Malay teh terik). Friendly staff/ owner....AMAZING coffee, and the buns are WOW. We have been past this shop... but didn't go in senario....so have been missing out for a while...but not now. Can totally reccomend Green tea latte with cream....totally amazing & yum.
5 I had read an article before saying this place is one of the hidden gems in South Brisbane, famous for their delicious buns. I really wanted to try their famous bun, and I finally went last week. At first, I hesitated when I saw they only had the coffee flavour (I thought the original would be milky or vanilla). But when I asked the friendly gentleman there, he explained that the flavour is very mild and the bun is caffeine-free. I bought one, and after the first bite I honestly loved it! The taste, texture, and even the temperature. They keep the buns warm in the oven, which makes them even better. It was an excellent experience and definitely worth the drive. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back.
5 This Papparoti is so good! The owners are the most warm and lovely people. They are always so happy to see you and service is fast. And of course, the buns itself are amazing. Warm coffee bun with melted butter in the centre. It's perfect!
5 the owners are lovely and always so welcoming when I visit. Which is why i always come back to enjoy their coffee and bun. AMAZING PEOPLE!
